This is the small stretch of beach east of the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor. From here you have a good view of the Walton Lighthouse located on the west side of the harbor. It is pleasant to visit but it is no big loss if you miss it.

We enjoyed going to Twin Lakes State Beach in Santa Cruz. Its close to the main harbor area. We liked the views. We took a nice walk by the Pacific Ocean.

After dinner I stopped at Twin Lakes State Beach Park…it was very cool!!! Lots of huge waves crashing the shore and a beautiful light house in the distance. The sand was very cool and very white and the water was magnificent…. There were not many people on the beach and I got some great pictures of the sun and moon and waves and lighthouse!!!! Great place right where the Crow’s Nest is located!!!

We found this beach accidentally and since it was later in the day we were able to snag a parking spot. We didn't swim but enjoyed walking along the surf. It was almost deserted, so I'm guessing it's not something most tourists know about! I wished we had known earlier in our stay because we would have made a day of it here.
