Nice park. Small parking area for the national park pass. There is city parking too. Nice picnic area with tables under the trees. Visitor center is smaller than the Chickamaunga, but worth the stop. Nice trail system here if you want to hike to some of the sites. Views are amazing.

Take the time to walk through the visitors center and read about the site you are visiting. I had no idea how crucial military control of the Chattanooga area was during the Civil War.

The view is quite pretty. We had lifetime passes so entry was free. Otherwise it is $10. The visitor center has interesting exhibits and souvenirs.

Breath taking views! Very informative historical monuments with well kept grounds. The only downside was the hiking trail from point park to sunset rock was overgrown and unclear.

Beautiful view of Chattanooga Tennessee from Point park. You could see how difficult it was to fight a battle .
