Great campground with shady, level sites. Full hook ups for $25 per nite. The park offers lots to do but as we were just passing thru for a couple of nights we did not do any exploring. Many families arrived for the weekend. Lots of bike riders around the level road. This is a place we would absolutely come and stay again!

This may be the nicest county park I’ve ever seen. We camped for two days and everything was amazing. Whoever is responsible for maintaining this park is to be commended.

It has it all from RV parking to swimming pool to rifle range! Great access to everything. Out in the country with great picnic sites.

Camped 7 days at Sharon Johnston Park while visiting relatives in Fayetteville, Tn. Nice level camping spot with full hookups. Plenty of room between campers. Pretty quiet except from 6-6:15 am when evidently people were going to work. Would have no problem camping there again

We stayed over July Fourth weekend at the new pull thru sites. The sites and road are gravel, but was told the plan is to pave both. Camp host was very personable and helpful. We stayed here so we could visit the Jack Daniels Distillary, which was very interesting, and also the U.S. Space and Rocket facility in Huntsville, which also is a must see. There is no wi-fi or cable, but decent Verizon signal, and a Publix Supermarket and Walmart 7 miles away. There is a large pool but we did not have time to visit it. It's a great place to stay. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. I would have given it four stars if it was paved.
