I like this dog park over the one in Roanoke, Salem. However, could you. the park city of Vinton, please mow the grasses? One bench in a small dog area will be nice for elderly to sit. I live in downtown Roanoke but love to come to Thrasher park because more green grasses n bigger area.

While visiting with my grand kids we decided to take the dog to the park. The grass needed to be cut and the trash needed to be emptied but overall it was a nice visit. Both the kids and the doge enjoyed the visit.

This is a nice grassy dog park that is flat and not too big or too small. The only warning is watch where you step because the grass hides the un bagged poo! anyway, My dog enjoys a good run around the park and finds a nice friendly dog to play with. There is one picnic bench to sit at in the big dog park bring your own seating at little doggie park.

Room to run for big dogs and separate space for small dogs. Located behind the tennis courts at the park. Water fountain for people and for dogs.
