This would be a good spot to teach a kid to ride a bike. The park has a short paved trail. Also cool seeing the green bridge.

One of many great parks in Meridian Township. Great place for groups and families to meet and for the kids to play.

We had a great time, the pavilion is really nice, the Min Pins had a blast going on walks with their adopters or running and playing in the Min Pen we set up for them, made clean up so much easier too! Thank you Okemos for letting IMPS rescue have their very first PinFest here!!

Nice to see the tax dollars at work in the community. Wonch Park is a wonderful experience. There are fun things for the kids, room for a catch or other sport, lots of places to sit and take it all in, and a nice walking way along the river. At a time when indoors has become the default for TV and gamers, Winch Park is designed to attract...pull us into the great outdoors and just bask in the moment.

This park is a gem. Located along the winding path of the river in old Okemos, this park is great for a walk with your dog, a picnic with family, or play with your child. it is the process of being upgraded right now. The old pavilion is down right now but is scheduled to be rebuilt. But their is still substantial playground equipment and a lovely path to walk on.
