After a long day of walking around Old Town, touring the New Mexico Museum of Natural History or attending meetings downtown, find a quiet spot under a massive cedar tree in this old park. Sitting between the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and the Albuquerque Museum, Tiguex Park is spacious enough to host soccer and a friendly game of neighborhood football. There always seems to be a game of hoops taking place on one of the park's four basketball courts.

tripadvisorCould be a really nice family park with exercise equipment, playgrounds, and wide open spaces for dogs, but it’s full of trash and homeless people who are not so subtly on drugs. Wouldn’t bring my kids within a few blocks of it unfortunately.
MoreThis Tri-Centennial Park is right next to the Albuquerque Museum. The is a playground, basketball court as well as workout equipment. In the evenings you will see many families and lots of dogs. It is a nice place to walk in the heat when you need some shade. It is small, but there is a number of winding paths.
MoreMy wife and I really enjoy walking and we we glad to discover a little gem like this so close to Old Town. It looks as if it is treasured by the community.
MoreA nice park in Old Town. When we were there there was a musician entertaining those in the area. Others were there hanging out and cooking. A pleasant place to hang out.
MoreTiguex Park in Old Town Albuquerque is located next to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and the Albuquerque Museum. It is a very large park that provides green space, exercise theme, basketball courts and outdoor plaza. It is also known as the Tricentenial Park and Time Capsule Park. Nice space to get away from all this busy and commercial old town.
