MoreGlass bottom boat ride is great! Best way to see the springs. The water is so clear. The price is very reasonable. The tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly. The view from the boat is great. While it is centered mainly on viewing the underwater sites the scenery is also stunning. Tip: You have a ticket for a specific time so you will have a seat. So being at the end of the line puts you in the front of the boat. This gives you a better view of the scenery as well as the view underwater. Also, DO NOT miss your time or you will lose your spot with no refunds. Be at the dock when told and listen for the call for your specific time.
MoreBooked the longer ride online ahead of time. Glad I did. It took us much father than the basic ride. I got to see a lot more of the area animals by doing so. Book ahead if at all possible. Be sure you have tickets for this awesome ride! Could see down 55 feet at one point and the water as clear as a bell.
MoreI dragged my husband here for the boat trip and he loved it. We enjoyed the glass bottom boat. Saw turtles, many fish, manatees and a crocodile. On line tickets were sold out but when we went directly to silver springs there was availability. Don’t miss this side trip.
