Flags fly high over the small memorial at this city park. Children can play at the jungle gym, while inline skaters and bikers cruise along the nearby Boise River Greenbelt. Offering access to the Boise Cascade Lake, the park is also popular with fishermen and wildlife viewers. Its location makes it ideal for a quick after work picnic or for a relaxing stroll along the Boise River.

The park is a decent size, there are some picnic tables and some paths to walk, as well as a playground. The actual memorial part is smaller than I was expecting though.

So proud of boise! Several beaches, deep water and lots of space. Dog owners do not clean poop which resulted in closing from E. coli. Radio identifies problem as goose poop, DNA tests show dogs as major causation. Tell boise we want our ponds back, curb your dog.

I enjoy the park and its nice for a stroll. I personally would never swim in this water because it looks and smells horrible. I would also never stroll around this place late at night because it has unique people hanging around.

It's a neat pond/lake in the city. Great for swimming in the summer with a couple rope swings here and there. However if you go, you'll be surrounded by 16-17 year olds doing the same thing. Free parking and dogs are welcome!
