tripadvisorEasy to access plateau with lots of hiking trails and views. The main destination is Paradise Falls. The creek has water year round is nice a shady at the bottom. The trail mostly follows the creek below. The alternative is the following the rim of the plateau. Either way, the falls and creek are about 300 feet below the parking lot and one must ascend this again. Lizzard Rock trail at the end of the plateau offers some nice views. The entire area is very popular with both hikers and mountain bikers. For those looking for a longer hike, a recently completed bridge at the bottom of Lizzard Rock trail connects to the Western Plateau with more remote hiking and less people.
MorePretty easy to get to this park and there are quite a few trail choices. You can spend the day hiking, or spend an hour getting a work out. Paradise falls waterfall hike is one of the most popular and great to do for a group. No facilities at the trail heads - bring water or whatever you need with you.
MoreI hear they have a beautiful waterfall but unfortunately it is not accessible in a wheelchair. Some of the park looked like it could be, but I didn't get a chance to try it.
MoreVisit on a weekday if you don't like crowds on the trail. There are several different trails from easy to challenging. The waterfall is what everyone seems to want to see. It's a nice, moderate hike but, again, go on a weekday.
MoreVery popular hiking area. Many trail choices. Dog friendly, kid friendly. We had a fun hike on a beautiful day!
