Ithaca Falls are located in downtown Ithaca at Fall Creek and are one of a collection of falls in the Ithaca area, the others include Taughannock Falls and Buttermilk Falls. These falls are huge, both in width and in height, and can be viewed from Lake Street bridge where there is street parking or by walking down to the base via an uneven unmade pathway.

Our daughters favorite hike- because around every corner there are more little waterfalls to see before getting to the end. Easy hike. Very pretty

I saw the photos but when I parked for the walk to it, I was concerned. It was well worth the stroll and an easy one. Ithica Falls was very pretty with its cascading over the rocks and size. Highly recommend the stop.

Beautiful and accessible waterfall. Easy to view from the foot bridge through the campus. So many waterfalls in this area, and they are all equally beautiful!

According to the map, the fall is 156-ft tall, a respectable height inside a city. The easy way to view it is at the lookout point on the Lake St. bridge although the view is somewhat obstructed by trees. A better way is to hike down to the Ithaca Falls Natural Area where you can get as close as you want to the waterfall. At the time we visited, free parking is available at the lot at the intersection of Lake and Falls St.
