I'm six months late on this review, but felt I had to let people know about this wonderful holiday treat. We live nearby and have been going every year, except during the pandemic. The residence is spectacular and decorated beautifully for the holidays.Seeing the rooms and the history of the home is an added bonus. Conservation Hall is an underground structure and is not to be missed. So much history with photos of visiting presidents, country stars and others. It is also beautifully decorated.I believe it is only opened for a week or so, so you need to go online and get tickets as soon as you can. You park at a church and a shuttle takes you to the home. It is very close. Be sure to visit the gift shop area. We never got them before, but they have the best cookies and a nice ornament. Both sell out quickly. This is a great place to take visitors. It may be open other times of the year, but the holidays are the best!

It was a beautiful day to visit the Governor’s residence. The tour is interesting. Our family really enjoyed seeing Conservation Hall and seeing the gardens. Both were highlights of the tour.

I was honored to be able to volunteer during the first responders Christmas of Trees decorations and stand next to the women in military treee. So much hard work was involved and each piece was made with loving care. Very humbled to see so many people come to visit, be respectful and even met a few that served or had made the ornaments on the tree. It is a must stop if you are in Nashville during the holiday. They have new themes each year!!

The tour is free and you will be amazed. The grounds are beautifully manicured and decorated for your arrival to the Governor's Mansion. The guided tour will leave you with a plethora of knowledge about the history of the governor's mansion and Nashville in general. Each room has a themed Christmas tree and the decorations are spectacular. The underground Conference Center where they throw parties is unbelievable. Hurry and see it while they still have the tours!

The staff and the First Lady were very welcoming, kind, and accommodating to my school group of 27. We had an amazing experience and plan to return next year!
