tripadvisorBEWARE! You will be kicked out for DANCING. No kidding. Watched 3 ZZTop songs last night, when out of nowhere security came over and told us to leave. They said we, “threatened” other concert gowers, but couldn’t produce evidence, as there was non. Then I asked to see the posted rule that states we cannot stand and dance, they couldn’t evidence of that. I then pointed to the other people standing and dancing and asked why They get to stay? No answer. I then stated that we are being Discriminated against and wanted to know why? Is it because we’re bikers, watching a biker rock & roll band? Again, no answer. This is “Supposed” to be Liberal, Progressive Oregon, what gives????! Overall this place sucks….don’t believe me? Go find out for yourself. Buy an expensive seat, section 5, row P. Stand up and dance and they will make up lies, discriminate, and kick you out!
MoreBeware buying tickets online. We were sent to a scalper website from their official site, where we got scraped big time. Asked Cuthbert people about his, and they were so sorry, but no help. Blamed it on us. Just not secure, and not interested in helping us track this down. I've been to too many great shows at honest prices to go through that again: No More Cuthbert for us.
MoreWe went to see Robert Plant and Alison Krauss in August 2024. Long line to get into the venue but friendly and efficient staff got us in quickly. Good quick food and drink options that had lines moving in no time. Every seat is good. Sound mid-venue was top notch.
MoreMy wife and I went to the Yonder Mountain String Band concert last night and had a disappointing experience. We sat on the grass on the hill high enough so that we could see the stage. When the music started, we had a gentleman who was shirtless and appeared to be either drunk or high, dancing around in front of us for several songs. I spotted a Cuthbert Security personnel walking through so I talked with him about this situation. He talked with this Gentleman but soon walked away and our dancer kept dancing in front of us. I am certainly not against folks having a great time but there needs to be a location down closer to the stage where dancers can enjoy themselves but not be in front of those of us who are seated on the hillside, wanting to enjoy the music. I don't want to ruin the good vibe for anyone but I feel the Cuthbert management needs to take a bit more action in crowd managment. We love the Cuthbert but the tickets are expensive for our budget and we felt cheated last night because of this experience.
MoreSadly, can't recommend the lawn seating anymore -- used to be the best summer venue in town. Bonnie Raitt concert on 8-23-22 was heavily oversold, so lawn was too crowded. And you can't bring in food/drink anymore, not even water or light snacks, so the friendly picnic vibe of old is gone. It takes 30-40min waiting in line to get in; then 30-45 min in line to get food and a drink! They oversell these concerts, but don't provide enough food/drink vendors for the crowds. Instead of allowing entry at both gates, which would be convenient and faster, thousands of concert goers must pass through slow security lines in one location. Long time until we go back. Disappointed.
