Although the room was generally clean, we found either a scary blood or chocolate stain on the bedspread and wouldn't have stayed based on our initial impression. We decided to stick it out because of the close proximity to the music venue where we attended a concert. The staff never fixed the broken toilet seat like they promised.There was an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot, a flat tire elsewhere along the curb, random bags of trash on the sidewalk, overflowing trash in all bins, and the water in the pool was green. The eating area in the lobby also had many unopened supply boxes piled up in disarray. The owners could improve the overall appearance of this place with some simple maintenance and cleaning. It's too bad they don't do the basics to spruce it up a bit.

No usb ports in room. Paper thin towels. No breakfast of any kind provided. Generally rode hard and left out to dry condition, No attempt seemingly to bring itno 21st century. On a positive note, it did have a handicapped accessible pool .

We booked this hotel for six nights. First night had bedbug bites. Changed rooms and got bites again the second night. Changed rooms again and slept with lights on and noise the third night. Checked out the following morning. Owner was not there but said by phone that he would take care of us. He charged us for four nights at full rate! Unless you want to pay to get bitten by bedbugs, do NOT stay here. I feel like we were totally ripped off and will never stay at another Days Inn anywhere.

Great location on I-49, near services, food and retail. A solid value with a very nice staff. Jodi & Pam were outstanding. Mike & Maggie were most helpful. It is a clean and well maintained property. I will be happy to stay here again.

The room was nice and clean. My only problem was the morning I was checking out a lady knocked on the door and said housekeeping, I informed her I was still in the room. She said OK, I will come back at 11. About 15 to 20 minutes later, there was a knock on the door and the door was unlocked and being opened. If the bar had not been on the door, I would have been seen in my underwear. This time it was a man, he immediately apologized. However, this is not good business practice to unlock the deadbolt before check out time or at least give a person time to answer before entering the room. I was very upset.
