Like an upscale old-world Italian trattoria, Ristorante Don Giovanni features high ceilings, molded plaster, a polished mahogany bar and simple but perfectly prepared Italian food that has not heard even a rumor of 'nouvelle cuisine'. Rich soups make excellent starters with minestrone always on the menu. Second courses include hearty pastas and satisfying gnocchis, prepared al dente with nicely executed sauces that reflect many regional styles. Next comes flavorful entrees such as osso buco.
