I only stay in Marriott's and typically I don't have many issues but this was rough. Water damaged rooms, unclean bedding, unclean bathrooms are just never what I expected when it comes to any Marriott location. I was here on a work trip and didn't have many other options and honestly it was cheap nightly but not worth the fear I have that I'm taking something home with me. Night 1 down and I've already reached out to my HR to see if I can cancel and book another room elsewhere.
MoreMy wife and I recently stayed here at the Fairfield on Milwaukee ave. Wow!!! I’ve stayed at La Quinta motels that were much cleaner and better than this place. Staff at the front desk has no pep in their step, and doesn’t look and act professional. We showed up at 430pm and our room still wasn’t ready. It seemed like they must have cleaned our room in 5 min. Urine spots all over the toilet and we found hair around the sink. The bed sheets seemed to have blood stains. Wow!!I’m a huge Marriott fan, but this hotel left was definitely a rip off and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
MoreThis hotel needs to be remodeled. The ABC station doesn’t work on the hotel TV. There are stains in the window curtains and the hot water is barely hot in the shower. Would not stay here again.
MoreWe love Marriott, but this hotel is tired and needs updates. Our room might have had issues, but will never stay here again. The carpet was wet upon arrival. When walking in the bathroom dirt came off my feet onto the floor. The lighting over the shower and mirror in the room and in general need help, no hooks for towels, it was an ADA room, but even more light would be needed one would think. It was ok, but the carpet being wet was super weird and gross and the darkness in the bathroom and room was odd and made getting ready for an important event difficult. Maybe just this room needs help. The staff were great and welcoming and accommodating. Will not stay here in the future.
MoreWe had a great stay here during a long road trip. The location was excellent, as it was nice to be able to walk to restaurants. The staff members were courteous and helpful, and the rooms and common areas were impeccably clean.
