tripadvisorA must see. You can see in as short or long of a visit you’d like. Go in a.m. There is a great short hike across the highway as well.
MoreWe had our grandson’s baptism done. Beautiful place and architecture. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. A good place to visit and we’ll worth it.
MoreThe Wayfarers Chapel is such an incredible venue. It's located right near coast with a spectacular view of the Pacific and is surrounded by beautiful redwoods. My wife and I got married here in March of 2021 and we are so happy with how everything turned out. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and they were really flexible with all of our requests. The chapel grounds really provide for amazing and scenic photos so depending upon the time of day, you can really capture the magic of a wedding. We are incredibly grateful for the Wayfarers Chapel and we highly recommend that you use them for your special day.
MoreWe stopped here because I’m a huge fan of Frank Loyd Wright and his was built by his son. Parking is on site and free as is visiting the chapel. Be mindful of weddings as they close the chapel to visitors. We were able to go inside in between weddings. There is a dollar pamphlet that is well worth the buck to talk history and design elements of the grounds. There are clean restrooms and a gift shop on the grounds as well. Location is handicapped accessible with handicapped parking close by. We sat in the chapel for about 15 min just taking in the surroundings. Views of the ocean are spectacular. I highly recommend coming out for a visit. Drive is beautiful as well from the Long Beach area.
MoreExtremely unsafe parking lot, it is not well signalled and they have some sort of metal quills that break tires. Will never be back to a place where safety doesn’t come first despite receiving tourist. We don’t have those things in Canada, what we have is good signals to direct people within parking lots.
