Danforth Animal Hospital began in 1981 as the "Downtown Animal Clinic," in a little red brick building at the corner of 3rd and Broadway in Edmond. The staff consisted of Dr. Ron Laughlin and his wife Nancy. By 1986 the practice had outgrown that small building and was moved to the current location at the corner of Danforth and Chowning. To better meet the needs of our clients and their pets, the new building was designed and constructed specifically as a veterinary hospital. It received a National Merit Award from the Veterinary Economics Magazine hospital design competition in 1987. Dr. Brian Hall joined the practice in 1991 followed by Dr. Donna Woods in 1997. Our two newest doctors, Dr. Mendy Laughlin and Dr. Adam Laughlin, joined the practice in years 2007 and 2009, respectively. Our staff has grown from two employees to fifteen as we continue to provide the most comprehensive veterinary care possible.
