Cowen Park Park

Sprawling across 12 acres of land, Cowen Park is a great spot for picnics and is also a nice place for kids to play. This park features a softball field, a play area, barbecue pits and picnic tables. If you wish to enjoy a game of tennis, you can visit the adjacent tennis courts that are located east of the 15th Avenue Bridge. A great place to visit for an evening walk.

Want to feel as if you've left the city and are removed to the deep woods? Cowen Park is a pretty slice of nature, meandering through a neighborhood just minutes from downtown Seattle, with pedestrian bridges offering lofty views of flora and fauna. A big plus: the main path through the park is bicycle, wheelchair and pedestrian friendly.

My neighborhood park, but you are welcome to visit and enjoy our park. Great for younger kids and for older kids to play volleyball or cross a Frisbee. Continue down the stream for a walk through a hidden forest glen of the adding Ravenna Park.

A very nice park which is well maintained and clean. Lots of place for the kids to roam around. There are some trails provided and they are not crowded. The park ground is also ideal for picnic due to its vast open space.

I had always thought this was part of Ravenna Park, but no this cute park is its own little park. Nice things for kids and a nice smallness about it, and if you'd like, you can continue on to Ravenna Park.

This is a great little park which offers a lot for all ages. Playgrounds, grass fields, hiking trails, a water falls, Koi pond and even a Zip Line! Never seems to be too crowded but always people playing Frisbee or Volleyball which you would expect being fairly close to the UW campus and the Greenlake neighborhood. Like most parks in Seattle, there is the homeless contingency always present but not a problem like some of the larger parks. Pretty quite a serene so if you want to just relax or have a picnic, this is the place.
