tripadvisorWonderful bookstore with great staff. Diverse selection. Nicely laid out.
MoreMy granddaughter went nuts in this store! I use a Kindle, but the store was also fascinating to me. They have lots of interesting books, but also lots of gift items. We hung around for at least 30 minutes, and I think Lexy bought 5 different books. I loved this little store ... I think it would appeal to most people.
MoreFantastic selection of books in a beautiful space! The only reason I knock a star off is because many of the genres were vaguely labeled or in very small quantities (fantasy was in sci-fi, not labeled sci-fi/fantasy, horror was a single shelf at the end of a row, and genre-less fiction was a giant wall that was nearly impossible to sort through). The employees were helpful and pleasant, however.
MoreWhether I am looking for a book for myself or my grandkids, the staff are always quick to help with a suggestion. It hardly takes any rime before special order books arrive. I can’t think of a single book they weren’t able to track down for me. .Great selection, great staff.
MoreI don't live in this town, but always love stopping at this bookstore. It is not far from the ferry terminal. This place feels to me like a bookstore should...there is a fine scent of books and paper as you enter, a warm atmosphere, beautiful old wood floors and lots of woodwork. And then a great selection of books, and a decent sized store, and staff that clearly care about books. They also have author reading here, and were setting up for one today at the time I visited. This is a definite booklover stop.
