Reviews
tripadvisorThe high-vaulted and lighting contrasted well with the small coziness the older books and wooden shelves at right angles. The special collection in the far corner of the store has many rare books and encyclopedia editions, along with out-of-print books.
MoreThis bookstore is gorgeous. Genuinely. It has a beautiful interior in a beautiful building. The only tricky thing is finding parking in Pioneer Square, but once that's settled, you absolutely should drop in.
MoreWe stumbled on this bookstore walking back to our hotel from a ballgame at T-Mobile Park. I love the mix of new and used/older books. We chatted with the owner and he was incredibly helpful. It's clear he knows his stuff and had excellent recommendations. He spent a ton of time with us directing us to what we were looking for and we never felt pressured to buy. Would definitely come here again the next time I'm in Seattle.
MoreWe enjoyed our visit to this small store. The owner was very helpful and attentive. He even provided some local recommendations to us.
MoreI happened on Arundel Books by accident and was astounded by the variety of old and rare books. I was able to purchase a 19th century book by the naturalist Charles Waterman and a book by Sir Richard Burton. One can spend hours going through the variety of unusual offerings on subjects like literature, science, religions, philosophy, poetry.
