I recently stayed at the Omni Hotel San Francisco on California Street, and I have to take a moment to recognize one team member in particular: Firaaz. From the moment I arrived, Firaaz set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most genuinely pleasant hotel experiences I’ve had in years.What stood out immediately was how attentive and warm Firaaz was without ever feeling scripted. Firaaz took the time to actually listen to what I needed, anticipated small details I hadn’t even thought to ask about, and handled everything with a level of professionalism that felt effortless. It’s clear this isn’t someone just going through the motions; Firaaz genuinely seems to care about making guests feel welcome and taken care of.Hotels can have beautiful rooms and a great location (and this one does — the California Street spot is fantastic, close to everything downtown), but what actually makes a stay memorable is the people. Firaaz elevated my entire experience with a great attitude and genuine care.I travel frequently for work and stay at a lot of hotels, and it’s rare to encounter someone who so clearly embodies excellent hospitality the way Firaaz does. This is the kind of employee who makes guests want to come back. Omni should be proud to have Firaaz on their team, and I hope this kind of dedication is recognized.I’ll absolutely be staying at this Omni location again, and a large part of that is because of the experience Firaaz provided.

This hotel has a great location within walking distance to many area attractions or hotspots; there are many many bakeries and restaurants nearby. The iconic cable car trolley runs along the front of the hotel. Rooms were clean and very spacious, the bath towels were plush and luxurious. Housekeeping provided plenty of free bottled water and welcome treats. Service was great, from the free morning hot coffee, to the front desk, to the bartenders and valet attendants, and all staff in general; they were friendly, courteous and welcoming. The hotel guests were happy and friendly too, and just made for a comfortable experience all around. Thank you Omni San Francisco!

Gorgeous hotel, but my highlight was the people! From Chris Y. to Firaaz, everyone made us feel super welcome and excited to be here in San Francisco. Big cities can be overwhelming sometimes, but the staff here made this trip start off with a great vibe. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Omni San Francisco. After having such an incredible experience here on our wedding night, we honestly didn’t think they could top it—but somehow, they did.The service was excellent from the moment we arrived, from the front desk to every staff member we encountered throughout our stay. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel genuinely well taken care of.We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches waiting for us in our room. The framed wedding photo, chocolates, macarons, and sparkling wine were such a wonderful surprise and made our stay feel even more special. It was an incredibly personal and thoughtful gesture that we greatly appreciated.Thank you to Dominique, Jano, Brett and the entire Omni team for once again making our stay so memorable. The Omni has become a very special place for us, and we look forward to returning.
