A great place to escape. The atmosphere is a great place to do research or just pleasure read, Their catalog of books is good enough, especially if you don’t want to purchase, You can get am out of town card if you work in Darien.
MoreGreat, convenient library with lots of parking off street in a lot. The weekly movie feature is on a nice sized screen, with an excellent speaker system. Usually a recent theatre release. Small auditorium with comfortable theatre seats. Well organized and run. There is a small cafe near the entrance to the theatre. I do recommend going here
MoreThe Darien Library is excellent! The staff is highly knowledge and helpful, the resources available are amazing, and the special programs for kids and adults are wide ranging and first rate. Whether for personal or business center needs - this is the place to go.
MoreI have taken several classes at the Darien Library. Comfortable seating, noise level not too high. The parking can be an issue
