tripadvisorLove this bar for the best music even though rough around the edges had a great afternoon and evening Rockbox outstanding. Ruined for us so we left you get approached by people going round - you can’t hear a word they are saying to you over the music but they are hassling you to buy drinks/shots for the band basically my his band blindly handed over his credit card which took us over 10 minutes to get back as they “didn’t know where it was” was very shady - if anyone approaches you ignore them if you want to buy drinks for band do it off your own back - dodgy
MoreWe visited this bar on March 11, 2026 and had an amazing time. We retuned on the 13 th to hear the same band play! Upon going to the bar, the bartender completely ignored me to wait on a much younger girl. My next trip to the bar he did wait on me. Keep in my the band was very very loud. I ordered a water and he quickly walked away before I could say “ and an Ultra” when he came back I said “and an Ultra” . He looked at me like he didn’t hear me . So I repeated “ Ultra “ and mouthed it so he could understand me. He immediately yelled” I KNOW “!!! Then he motioned to the other bartender… whispered something to her and walked away. The female bartender finished my order. Keep in mind I’m a 60 year old retired school teacher and was in Nola for spring break. I don’t cause problems. However, I did ask to speak to the manager. I explained what happened to the manager outside the bar. He listened and then went back in and spoke to the bartender. I doubt anything will come of my complaint. I do feel this was a case of discrimination against older women. This bartender’s name was Ridge. He should not be working in a public service job!!! HE IS THE RUDEST BARTENDER EVER!!!!
MoreShady place. Group of us within during a day trip. Bartender told me verbally a shot was $5 dollars each. I ordered five (5) five shots. When he brought me my credit card bill it was $69 dollars. When I verbally dispute d the charge the bartender he said he mistakenly told me the price and it was &10 a shot. Brought it up to another female bartender who said he charged me drink prices. They never refunded my credit card. We left and went across the street to another establishment where the shots were $5 and 3 for one drinks. The DJ was amazing.
MoreGreat rock and roll from many decades. Fun crowd of all ages. The band played all kinds of rock and several sing alongs too. Great guitar work
