tripadvisorI am writing another review because they still have not added a dessert place or a coffee shop. The food choices are limited to Panera, Pizza Studio, Smashburger or Applebees (they do have Dallas BBQ if you want to spend extra cash). The TJ Maxx and Sketchers are nice and a Ross store was recently added. Aldis and Lidl are also there which makes it worthwhile going there to shop. I have seen shoplifting at the Five Below so be alert in that store. The area is generally safe.
MoreMore a shopping center that hasn’t really left the 1970s . There are stores but not really great ones and the selection might impress people who have never lived on Long Island and been to what surburbia calls a mall. But it is East New York so I got it. I needed a Pennys for towels is the only reason I went. I like the JC Pennys it has as that store is a dying breed . But , the sales people aren’t very engaging you constantly see ppl at counters looking down on their phones . You see ppl shoplifting I’m no fan of this place and wouldn’t be caught dead in that area at sundown . It’s just not my thing . IL be taking my ride back to Roosevelt Field before ever going back here again
MoreIt's conveniently located off the parkway and a short ride from Woodhaven or Howard Beach in Queens. No shortage of stores here and quite a few restaurants also. One observation on my last visit was that there is no dessert place and also they do not have public restrooms anywhere. Most malls I have visited have designated restrooms which are separate locations throughout the mall. If a bathroom is really needed you would have to go to one of the stores in the mall. I loved the Five Below and JC Penny. Shoprite and Petco are there also.
MoreEnough selection of stores. I enjoyed the holiday music that was playing through out the mall. The have good restaurant selection. Not too bad
MoreGateway Center is right off the Belt Parkway at Erskine Avenue. There are several stores which include, among others that I've visited: Target, JC Penney, Staples, Home Depot, BJ's, and many others, and places to eat at Gateway that I've been to: including Olive Garden, Applebee's, Outback Steakhouse, just to name a few of my favorites. There's even a ShopRite food shopping market that has a wide variety of edibles that my own local supermarket does not carry. I've also been to VisionWorks for eye glasses and was pleased with the helpful service to find frames & lenses for my particular needs. Some stores are in the back... so there's a lot more than what you initially see from the roadway. For the traveler, it's worth stopping by; and for the more local shopper you don't have to drive for miles to get to good stores and good places to eat. I like it!
