You charge $15 to launch our boat and then allow people to park their cars with NO TRAILERS in the boat trailer parking lot. How hard would it be to have someone monitor who's entering the boat launching area. There is absolutely no reason cars without trailers need to be entering this area it just adds to the congestion. If your not going to monitor then don't charge me the GOD DAMN $15 dollars. In addition what a cluster when leaving the water lanes 1-4 are pick up and lanes 5-8 are launching but no one is following it so you have A-LOT of pissed off people. Very disappointing City of Renton! Glad we don't live anywhere close to this cluster! We thought lets try Lake Washington today BIG MISTAKE!

the view is below average for the area, trees don't provide much shade... parking is hard to find. visit Kirkland, Belleuve, Seattle, Renton is 2nd class... or worse.

Coming from the Jersey Shore I find most other beaches to be underwhelming... But this was a great place to spend a few hours after visiting Jimi Hendrix grave (5 mins away). Beach area, playground for kids and area to have a nice walk.

There is also a marked interpretative walk and some impressive outdoor sculptures.The day I was at the park the weather was mild, the water was fairly calm, a few people were fishing off the dock, people were strolling, ducks and geese were hanging around, and a light breeze was blowing. It was all pretty idyllic, and it pained me to have to leave and head to the airport. If I have the time the next time I visit Renton, I’ll definitely be back!
