Receptionist was extremely unfriendly, rude, and abrasive. This was my 2nd visit since the new ownership. I was hoping that when I had met this same receptionist previously, she was just having a bad day. I was wrong. I could not stomach paying anymore money to an establishment that treated me so unkind. I left deflated after traveling 25 miles daydreaming about my birthday spa visit. The previous owners valued every client and sought to make your visit healing and tranquil. This is no longer that relaxed space.

It’s struggling, but on life-support. They need to fix a few things like the phone in the men’s area should work, especially in case of emergency.Thankfully, no longer require swimsuits for guys. Unfortunately, the LOUD Russian customers , that often frequent (evenings) during the week bring their children lie about their age being at least 10 when you can clearly tell they’re six or seven there’s water everywhere. Running & jumping into the pools, They’re so disrespectful, loud and annoying. The restaurant no longer serves Korean food and is no longer consistent on their hours. If they feel like being open, they’re open if they don’t want to be they are not .. it’s completely unreliable, and it open they may not serve all that’s on the over priced menu. I hope one day it’s sold back to the Koreans who know how to run a real Spa with courtesy, care, cleanliness and a calm atmosphere you want.

I used to go every week for years as it was such a great relaxing experience; however, Palace Spa is NOT the Korean Spa it used to be. Russians bought the spa several months ago and has let it deteriorate into a place not worth visiting. I was informed last week that from now on everyone must wear a bathing suit in the hot tub area or be denied access. Previously and for years it was mandatory naked as a Korean Spa. They will gladly sell you a $15 pair of swimming shorts in addition to the current $35 entrance fee. It USED to be a quiet relaxing place but now the customers are often drunk, extremely loud/obnoxious along with their wild young children and cousins running around jumping into and splashing in the hot tubs. All this noise is all allowed to go on, unchecked. No longer a tranquil, relaxing space. The lockers are ALL broken, there is NEVER any body wash in the showers and the place has become dirty. I will never go back and from what I hear, ALL the previously loyal customers are gone, too. This is such a disappointment as I went for physical therapy reasons, as well. There is a legitimate Korean Spa in Lynnwood.

A lot to unpack here! I specifically asked to be shown around, as I had never visited a co-ed spa. She showed me where the showers were, gave me some clothes, etc. She never explained what to wear where. I got completely dressed in street clothes, and could not find the amethyst room, so I gave up. Next, they charge you for the tip up front (like on your credit card). How many spa guests, hop out without paying? How can I possibly know how much to tip? Based on you, front desk, that ah 0%. Then, when you get to your service, you hear each lady ask for a tip. So tacky! Just let us tip after the service like LITERALLY EVERY WHERE ELSE.So how did I come up with VERY GOOD? The facility is great. Think clinical, not spa vibe. The scrub is not for the sensitive. They beat the hell out of you...in a good way. The service was over the top and extra. She gave me a mini facial (I did not pay for) with cucumbers. She beat up my feet with hot stones, and gave me a mini pedicure (scaping the dead skin). The products were fragrant, but not overwhelming. I am extremely sensitive to smell, and they did not offend me. She massaged my head with I don't know what, but it felt great. She washed and deep conditioned my hair. So, it was worth missing out on the amethyst room. But, please treat your employees with respect by allowing us to tip after the service. I would have tipped a lot more after the service.
