I was seriously shopping for tile for my bathroom and the salesman made me feel like I couldn't possibly afford to shop there and I was just going to waste his time. The tile is very pricey but I had done my research and knew what I would be spending. I took my business elsewhere because they clearly don't need it from their attitude.

Such a neat place to visit!!! There is an old school turned hotel there and you can see this from some of the rooms.

Fun and colorful art work to enjoy. My cousin and I enjoyed spotting the art work along University Ave on our way to shop at Craft Company # 6. Which BTW check out Craft Company # 6 for amazing and unique gifts and treasures.

ARTWalk is much more than an urban art trail. It is an award-winning pedestrian-focused and pedestrian-friendly redo of the entire public realm of what was originally called the Atlantic University neighborhood just southeast of downtown Rochester. In the mid 1990s the name changed to Neighborhood of the Arts, as it has such a huge volume/variety/density of museums, galleries, studios and other artistic/cultural attractions and amenities--including the world-renowned George Eastman Museum of Photography and Film, and the University of Rochester's Memorial Art Gallery. The medina-stone purplish sidewalk through the heart of the neighborhood is called ARTWalk, and is designed for safe and enjoyable walking, and is lined with funky yet functional art. The neighborhood also offers a wide array of cafes and restaurants, retail shops, green spaces, gardens, and offices for just about every imaginable service. NOTA and ARTWalk are also very close to the City's bustling and iconic Public Market; and the Park Avenue, East Avenue and Monroe Avenue Districts--and also downtown.

This is a fun part of town with interesting art installations, but the big draw is the number of restaurants offering creative and fresh cuisine. Some of them are so hip and offer the requisite creative craft cocktails.
