Terrible terrible place. Owner doesn’t care about the customers that live there. Owner lies to her customer making nothing but false promises! This place needs to teared down immediately. Disgusting inn and an excuse for a place to rest.

The room was generally ok in terms of utility and amenities. However, I had some problems with the environment, including, noise from adjacent and upstairs rooms -- throughout the evening and overnight from people making noise next door and the 2nd Floor occupant walking forcefully back-n-forth frequently throughout. Also, there was an odor of marijuana when I entered (2nd time) and a hair on a bath towel.

This 2-story motel will appeal to those who seek an inexpensive clean lodging for a short stay. The room was very clean, the air conditioner worked and the towels and complimentary toiletries were adequate. On the downside, the furniture was aged and battered and the overall atmosphere a bit grim. The neighborhood is mixed. Eugene's homeless challenge was on full display but there are some very good restaurants, food trucks and a delightful beer garden and patio within a few blocks. We didn't feel unsafe walking to them -- at least during the daylight hours. For those looking to explore Eugene on foot, the riverfront, rose garden, 5th Avenue Market and Saturday Market are within a walk of 20 minutes or so.

We made a reservation online through their website and had to cancel 10 days later, which I did over the phone. That was two weeks before our reservation. We were still charged for our room. When I called to get a refund, I was called a liar and they denied I ever cancelled the reservation. They said I made the reservation the day before, when I actually made it 1 month before. Sounds like it is run by a husband and wife and she was hostile to me over the phone.

The first sign of welcome that started to draw me into this space was the warmth and tenderness that I felt when I was greeted on the phone by Tonya. That lovely phone interaction then lead to an in person experience that cascaded into more warmth and comfort. Tonya's kindness, sincerity, and even the gentleness in her voice was something that I will always remember and carry with me.
