Fair Trade Coffeehouse is independently owned and serves up fair trade certified coffee and espresso along with panini sandwiches, soups (in season) and house-made pastries and desserts. Established in 2004, Fair Trade Coffee house is conveniently located at 418 State Street in downtown Madison. Just a couple of blocks down from the Capital Square and Overture Center and only two blocks up from UW-Madison we are at the heart of State Street and cater to a fun-loving, fast-paced and ever-changing downtown crowd. Customer service is an idea we take to heart. Every barista is not only trained to pull perfect shots for your double espresso and to steam the milk just right for an extra dry cappuccino, they are dedicated to bringing you an experience worth remembering. We are "all-in" for our customers and no matter what you might ask for, we will do our best to bring it. You WILL notice the difference. Being locally owned and owner- operated means that it wouldn't be unusual for the person waiting on you to be the same person who is paying the bills. No coffee snobs here, just real folk making an honest living. Believe me, it is a welcome and notable difference.
