Excellent experience! Gorgeous art, appears more like a museum. Very friendly staff, has changed ownership. Would highly recommend.

Extremely rude. The door has a sign saying ring bell for entry so we rang and waited for a disheveled old man to unlock the door and berate us for bothering him, stating he would only allow in serious buyers, and that we weren't welcome. Based entirely on our appearance. Horrible business strategy, as my fiancee and I were actively shopping for art. Take your business elsewhere; every other store we shopped at during our visit had excellent southern hospitality.

Sold to me as a handmade Italian piece, but turns out it’s actually a 1930s Cambridge Glass Co. vase — American-made and gorgeous, but not what I paid $400 (or more, I don’t remember exact dollar amount) for. Know your inventory if you’re gonna charge top dollar! I’ve been excited about this find for 3 years now, finally did research on it tonight. DON’T TRUST THIS SHOP, DO YOUR RESEARCH. It’d be better to find a completely different shop to do business with.

The proprietor of this amazing collection of art is a true Southern gentleman! He was so very gracious and patient while we made several purchases of artwork. He is extremely knowledgeable about the antiques and art in his establishment and travels worldwide to collect the pieces. Interacting with him was most delightful and we are already looking forward to our return to Charleston to see him!
