We have stayed here several times. The owner is very friendly and runs a great little motel. We will stay here again.

If you are looking for a simple very clean and well maintained motel near everything in Eugene, this is your place. Super Clean and well maintained. Amazingly quiet as it is right next to 7th street. The Couple running it are super nice as well.

Great basic motel. Very clean and well kept. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Well worth the low price given the ratings of the competition. It was a 5 minute drive, if that, from the University of Oregon.

I came in from the coast for a concert at the Hult Center, and chose Downtown Inn because it was within walking distance at a good price. I wasn't expecting anything special and was impressed with the extras in the room: not only a microwave and minifridge/freezer but also an ironing board and iron along with a table and two chairs in addition to the desk. I've been in a lot more expensive, larger rooms that didn't have any practical place to sit down and eat a meal or play cards or whatever. Best of all, the room did NOT reek of fragrance. In fact it was not fragranced at all. And everything was squeaky clean. The heating/cooling system did leave a little to be desired, as another reviewer mentioned, but I'm giving the place five stars anyway because in every other respect it was perfect. I feel as if I've stumbled on a treasure, and I look forward to my next stay.

This is a standard motel with clean rooms and nice staff. The bed is fine. The problem is in the title. Each room has an individual heating/aircon unit in the wall that makes a lot of noise. Maybe I’ve spent to much time in hotels outside the US, but there are much quieter and more efficient ways to heat and cool.
