Beautiful old castle-like event center. Saw Nick Swardson and the cultural center is like a castle. Very cool aesthetics and I am guessing many original or rebooted architecture. But the seats need to be updated, not comfortable.

Recently attended a touring broadway musical at SCC and it was a wonderful venue. Location was excellent. Several parking garages were within walking distance, as well as numerous restaurants. The interior was beautiful and there did not appear to be a bad seat in the house (we were pleased with our off center, balcony seats). In addition to the view, the sound quality was excellent.

The shows offered at the cultural center are fabulous! I have not seen a show I didnt appreciate. Seating is good. Pricing is reasonable and if you get a season ticket you save money all around. Usually they give you 3 days to attend and sunday afternoon offers the best seats. The cultural center even offers special other events wine tastings and weddings all done fabulously. Space is great. I believe they even give free tours.

It is great to get inside and see some of the high caliber performances that are brought to the Scranton area. Would love to see some of the profits funneled into a preservation project for the main auditorium

We came to the Culture Center to attend a musical. We were impressed by the architecture of this historic building. We were a bit scared of the interior of the theatre. Tiles were hanging from the ceiling as if they would drop at any moment, water marks were evident on the ceiling as well, there were holes in the walls and fixtures, large patches peeling paint, and the acoustics made it hard to understand the show at times. I certainly hope they are able to make improvements to this facility as it certainly is a diamond in the rough.
