We stayed at the 5310 N Ocean Blvd property. The bathroom ceiling was peeling, there was rust around the curtain rod and rings holding a cheap shower curtain. They were two plungers and a scrubber on the floor next to the toilet. There were stains on the carpet. Why is there carpet in a room off the beach? The bedspread has some stains on it that looked like chocolate or blood? The recliners were crooked when you opened them and you had to wrestle them to close because of that. There was two old stained plastic chairs on the balcony that need to be tossed. The hot tubs and inside pools had a brown coating on them so they weren't getting cleaned good. There were dead bushes by the fence in the pool area and weeds. They give you one roll of tp per bathroom for a 5 day stay. Their trash can liner leaked. You have to empty trash, remove the sheets from the bed and by the way, they have marked on the mattress cover do not remove. $600 in fees which was more than one night stay of about $400. Stay in a nice luxury hotel where you can get amenities and a cleaner room. This is not luxury as advertised.

Room 205 reminded me of a college dorm shared by a bunch of guys. It was livable but definitely not clean enough. The basic necessities were in place such as couch, chair, bed...but it had a hodgepodge look about it. This unit was not well cleaned as stated in other reviews. Since this is not a hotel and units are individually owned I imagine other units are nicer....but 205 is lacking in cleanliness. I hope the owners will invest in a better cleaning service. They also mentioned in the booking process about taking out additional insurance for damages which includes wall scuffs. I declined b/c I am beyond those occurances potentially happening as a couple with no children. The scuffs and chips present on arrival were excessive and abundant!! In every room but the bathroom. There were paint cans in the furnace closet so maybe they are working on it. Our 2 night stay wasn't miserable but it didn't feel clean and cozy which means alot to travelers vacationing.

Room 205 is disgustingly dirty, stained carpet, dirty furniture, stained walls. Paint cans and filth in furnace room. Living room carpet should be replaced as has wrinkles. Dishwasher doesn’t close right. Textured ceiling in living room is peeling

The location on the beach is wonderful and we have stayed in this area for many years. This was our first time at South Wind. It could be that it was the end of the season but the floors in our condo were nasty dirty. Also, the furnace and w/d area has not been attended to and needs cleaning. In general it was kept up.The lock on the door was difficult to work. The lock on the sliding door(bedroom) did not work There were light bulbs out.If I was the owner of this condo I would be very unhappy with the maintenance. We paid months in advance for this trip. I could have stayed other places for much less.We won't go back.

We had a great experience at Southwind . The Condo was everything we were hoping for . We had 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The Condo was well stocked with dishes and cookware. We had more than enough towels . Thank you for the starter pack of essentials like dish soap and shampoo . The beds were super comfortable. We traveled with our Family of 12 and there was something to do for every age . We Hope to stay again .
