Excellent location just 5-10 minutes from Albany Airport, with a selection of shopping and dining close by. Check-in process was easy enough, and the fellow at the desk was pleasant and helpful. I left too early to enjoy the complimentary breakfast, but I'm sure this is a value add for most guests.The hotel itself is getting a little threadbare and needs to be renovated. HVAC system in my room was clunky, technology was dated and the bathtub had some ground in stains.

Staff at check in was nice. Very very disappointed they advertise EV charging but only have 2 and Out of Order. Had to drive 20 mins rt and pay $20 to charge when should have been able to just plug in, check-in, and relax.

Saratoga is the August place to be, the ads say. The Saratoga area is the expensive place to be in August! We were in the area for a family party and searching for a reasonable place to spend the night. This was about 1/2 hour away from the party and prices were reasonable, considering. Turns out it’s one of the nicest Hampton Inns we’ve stayed in. The very friendly front desk clerk checked us in right at 3. Our room had a king size bed, sofa, and desk area. Everything was clean and in working order. No aromatic enhancements, just fresh. The bed was comfy. There were two big fluffy pillows and two nice flat, but not too flat, pillows. The giant pillow trend makes me feel like I’m sleeping with pandas so I was pleased to see the choices. The mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sink are in an alcove as you walk in the room. So I could get up early, microwave my corn bag, and make the coffee without disturbing my partner. The toilet and shower are separate from the sink area. There was a motion detector light in the sink area to turn on the light in the toilet area when you were near. And an actual night light in the sink area. So it was not necessary to keep the bathroom light on so you can remember where you are in the middle of the night. Breakfast was the usual waffles, of course; a choice of 4 small ones or the big one and a choice of two flavors. Plenty of fresh fruit. I chose a banana. There were cheese omelets, plain unless you wanted to add something else to them. And sausage and Yukon gold potatoes. I’ve got to ask the Hampton Inns to quit ruining the taste of yummy Yukon Gold potatoes with some kind of salty concoction. Full size yogurts. Cereal, oatmeal packets, juices, bakery, all the expected. Oh, an actual bagel slicer, too. Nice clean breakfast area.We appreciate all the people who made our stay so pleasant. The location wasn’t right off the freeway but it was very easy to get to and near whatever you night need.
