This soccer bar has a vast array of choices of beer and even locally made soda. The people here are always good people and some of the nicest individuals you will meet. You will have a good time here guaranteed.

Friend recommended we go bee for old school night. Unfortunately there was no old school music being played. The crowd was chill but just not my scene. I like to dance the night away. Good spot of you like beer and standing around. Bartenders were nice as well but again not my scene.

My first time going to Highbury was in late January. I arrived about 10:00pm and the lounge was beginning to fill. It was a great atmosphere, I shared conversation with a few couples, danced with a few ladies and enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar until my friends showed up. The music was great, a mixture of old skool as well as current. I would recommend this joint for conversations and the music. The only con was that there really isn't a dance floor and there is only one bathroom for woman.

The Highbury is a soccer bar by the looks. It had a “towny” feel. The customers and the bartenders were nice to non-regulars. The feel was very comfortable. [We had just walked in and out of a place down the road that lacked this.] It smelled significantly of smoke – I would guess lots and lots of vaping or they haven’t painted in 10 years. There were not a ton of people and I didn’t see anyone smoking. It was enough to surprise us all but not chase us out. Nice place to hang out for a couple of beers if you are walking along Kinnickinnic.

We were in town for the the Newcastle United match and figured this place would be a nice addition to our trip. Our bartender was very welcoming and helpful. Offering us tips on places to eat and asking other local patrons for their input as well. I'd be a regular if this bar was in my city.
