Jim's Coney Island Cafe doesn't really "specialize" in any certain category or item. The food, the service and the atmosphere are all equally excellent. The head cook, Hugo, has been here 14 years, running the kitchen for the last three owners. The other cook, David, has been here nine years. Most of the servers have been here over five years. Even the full time dishwasher has been here over seven years. I think that says a lot, as compared to most places that cycle through the help. The thing this restaurant has more than most is Heart, and Soul. This diner just has "It". You can feel "It" when you walk through the door. Come by and see for yourself.
