tripadvisorWith all the galleries to view on Canyon Rd, Winterowd Fine Art Gallery offers some really special pieces. Not only is the staff really knowledgeable and helpful, but the art is stunning and unique. It's an absolute must when exploring Canyon Rd.
MoreCarla Winterowd Gallery is an excellent gallery located toward the end of Canyon Road. She exhibits a variety of very fine artists including Sheryl Zacharia, noted for her ceramics and one of my favorite artists (I've collected over 10 pieces of her artworks)! Of all the galleries located on Canyon Road, this gallery should be on your list!
MoreStrolling Canyon Road we were drawn to the gallery as it looked like something was going on. Which there was! On offer were cupcakes and ice tea in celebration of its artists. On site were a few of the artists available to chat and/or to do a demo.Drawn to several artists, we enjoyed learning more about then. The gallery owner and her staff were welcoming and knowledgable.Eventually we zeroed in on a particular artist whose small works were available for purchase. With choices in hand, shipping and handling were swiftly organized. This gallery is well worth visiting for the variety of art available and the friendliness of staff.
MoreVery friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the arts being shown at the gallery. The works by JD Wellborn are paintings where he has created a woven technique along with papers and a mesh material. He gains depth through his process.
MoreInteresting variety of art, reasonably priced (at least, for Santa Fe). Warm and welcoming staff -- it's more like visiting with friends than a shopping experience.
