I had never been here before and I would stop again! Next time I will know what Nancy Drew books I am looking for so I can finish my collection! Nicely displayed and very impressive collection with something for everyone to look at.

This antique mall is on the top of my list of antique shopping in Adamstown, PA! There are many individual booths of antiques in this old hat factory. If you don't have a lot of time, make this your first shop of all the others. Yes, they are a little over priced, but I always come out with something at the end of the day. This year I found an antique doll carriage & clip on bird ornaments like what my mom had. It IS a large building, so wear comfortable shoes & bring water! Not a place for young children unless they are very well behaved or in a stroller.

Looking for Bobbleheads and everyone I saw was overpriced. Nice to walk around and enjoy a stroll but again everything was overpriced.

Lots of stuff and the staff are always helpful. We always stop there when we visit Adamstown. Park around back.

When visiting Central Pennsylvania, I visited this shop based largely on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. In short, I was disappointed, mainly due to how I was treated by an employee there. The store is quite large. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed is that there are rows upon rows of items encased in glass cases. You have to walk past all of these in order to get to the booths where you can actually touch and pick up things. I was on the hunt for vintage linens and hankies and ended up picking up several. One female employee approached me and offered to take them up front and hold them for me. I declined and told her I was still deciding. She told me I could decide while they were up front and continued to try to force me into letting her take them from me. (I cut the hankies and linens up and make them into quilts and dolls. I like to see what is in my hands as I am deciding so I can match patterns and colors and the like. It's hard to remember what all you have when you have several dozens picked out for this purpose. Not that this matters for the purpose of this review, but there is a reason behind my not wanting to give up my items.) Anyway, she continued to argue with me about the items in my hand. She was extremely pushy and off-putting, but she finally left me alone after several minutes. Shortly thereafter, another female employee approached me and wanted to take my items up front to be held. I declined her offer and she left me alone after that.I ended up purchasing a few hundred dollars of linens and hankies from this shop. However, the pushy employee ruined the shopping experience for me. I like to peruse antique stores as way to relax but she made the experience quite stressful for me.I later found out that this is one of three antique shops owned in the area by the same owner. They all apparently have some anti-theft practices into place which includes badgering customers and forcing them to have all items they might want to purchase being held up front. I understand the practice but they really need to change their approach on this. Badgering the customers and arguing with them is not a good business practice.I know that the next time I visit Central Pennsylvania, I will not shop here again.Avoid this place like the plague. There are plenty of other wonderful shops in the area that treat customers with kindness and respect. This isn't it.
