tripadvisorTook a little trip with my friend who knows I love art and she planned a day with an art tour. Robert Lange Studios was our last stop and my goodness what a treat. I got to meet Robert Lange which was the cherry on top. This studio is fun, friendly and beautiful. (They are going through some construction but the studio and gallery are very much intact). Visiting with artists, taking in the wonderful, whimsical art, seeing how and where these artists make the magic... very good experience! I highly recommend visiting this gallery while you are in Charleston!
MoreWhile walking through the market we were told by some locals to go to the Robert Lange Studio. At first we were hesitant, but we decided to try because we needed some ac. My friend is into art more than I am but it was very enjoyable. I loved the unique pictures and the meaning behind them.
MoreHave been wanting to visit Charleston art galleries for a long time, especially this one. Being an artist myself I have viewed the art and artists for years online and it has been on my bucket list ever since. It definitely didn't disappoint! It exceeded my expectations and I got to talk with Robert for a while. Love, love, love it and definitely hope to get back again in the near future,
MoreThis gallery left me feeling uplifted and hopeful. I enjoyed that the art had so much meaning behind each piece. My friends and I had several conversations regarding many pieces. The lady working there (so sorry I don't remember her name) was so helpful in helping to explain background about the art styles, artists and the artwork. The building was also so wonderful with incredible floors. We truly enjoyed our visit here. One of my favorites was Letting them Grow. Will be back when In Charleston again. Oh and something that I could do for free in Charleston. I gave my wallet a break!
MoreWe really enjoyed the Robert Lange Studios! Normally I don’t like art studios, but this was so unique and fun that I loved it! I enjoyed talking with Robert and watching him work as well as all the amazing art on the walls. It’s super easy to find and not pretentious at all. It was actually one of the highlights of our day in Charleston.
