Established in 1972, the Elfin Forest/Harmony Grove Fire Department nonprofit public benefit corporation that provides fire safety and prevention programs. It offers response services in cases related to medical emergencies, swiftwater rescue and traffic collisions. The department provides emergency preparedness, disaster simulation and community emergency response team programs. It supplies safety kits for community emergency response team members, including hard hats, reflective vests, backpacks, goggles, medical gloves, emergency blankets, flashlights, light sticks, adjustable wrenches, dust masks, duct tapes and whistles.
