Killarney's Irish Pub & Grill is the first authentic Irish pub to open in Temecula, California. The philosophy behind Killarney's was to recreate a genuine Irish pub from abroad. Therefore Killarney's was designed, built and shipped straight from Ireland, by the Sonas Design Company. We have taken a small piece of Ireland and brought it to the people of Temecula. Including in it's own snug, our own rendition of the famous Dick Mac's Pub in Kerry, Ireland. You no longer have to travel to Ireland to enjoy good craic-the Irish word for fun.

tripadvisorWe've been here a few times, most recently with a group of friends for a weeknight dinner. First off, bravo for being able to make a reservation for 14 people on fairly short notice, despite the fact that they were fairly busy. We were seated in the side room (with the shuffleboard table) which is so much better than the main bar area from a noise perspective! We were at a long table and it was perfect for being able to talk and socialize. If it matters to you, note that the main bar area is very loud! The menu includes lots of traditional Irish pub food - shepherd's pie, fish & chips, corned beef & cabbage - all of which members of our party ordered and enjoyed immensely. The burgers look amazing and we'll definitely be back for $8 BYOB- Build Your Own Burger night on Mondays! I had the chicken caesar wrap which was really delicious. The tortilla was lightly grilled and packed with large chunks of grilled chicken, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes and housemade Caesar dressing, and the french fries were well-seasoned and crisp - yum! Our server Lexi was friendly and accommodating. The decor and vibe is exactly what you'd expect in an authentic Irish pub. We've only been here for dinner, so I'm looking forward to checking out the best damn happy hour in Temecula - every day from 3-7pm!
MoreStopped here for quick lunch on drive to Palm Desert for a quick lunch. Ordered from appetizer menu and got two chicken strips and my wife got the street tacos. Chicken was excellent and HUGE. I thought they would be tough and bready, but they were surprisingly light. Street taco were plentiful. Friendly staff
MoreWe like pubs. Looking around, we found another pub (yesterday we had been to 1909 in Old Temecula), Killarney’s Irish Pub and Grill. The Pub is set in a nondescript shopping center off of one of Temecula’s main roads. Not hard to find. The receptionist was most friendly and took us to a corner table in a side room. They’ve done a terrific job making a vanilla flavored space into a genuine feeling older Pub. Lots of wood. The walls are a mottled paint. A bit noisy. But Pub noisy. Nice job folks. My wife and I shared a house salad (lots of varied lettuces and veggies) and fish and chips. The ‘chips’ (fries) were very good. The fish while nicely breaded with light breading was mostly tasteless. Rats! Other than for the receptionist, service was quite lackluster. Our server did the right things and said the right things, but without any enthusiasm or real interest. Didn’t dampen dinner. But didn’t add to it either. Not the kind of response one would expect from an Irish Pub. Based on the service, probably wouldn't go back.
MoreThey have tried to capture the essence of an Irish pub and have done well with the appearance. This place is quite large with a long bar and a lot of tables. The music was not Irish. The menu is very Americanized, but since this is American they have to cater to their customers. I decided to go Irish to experience the cuisine. The shepherd's pie did state that it was made of beef but it is really should be made with lamb. The dish made with beef is called Cottage Pie. The small portion size was more than enough. The bottom layer of meat and veg was good, not too much gravy. I did have gravy on the side and was glad as it tasted very processed. The layer of potatoes was not generous and was topped with cheese as requested. I think this dish was microwaved. There was no crispy top on the potatoes as it bakes in the oven. Today was taco Tuesday so maybe I should have tried south of the border cuisine instead of Irish. I have eaten here before and enjoyed their fish and chips but today what a disaster.
MoreUsed to be such a great place. Food, service and cleanliness have slipped horribly. Kevin, the General Manager is very rude. No soap in the ladies bathroom. Not an Irish experience. You can't even get Irish stew. If you are searching for an Irish experience go to Shamrocks in Murrieta. They have great atmosphere, authentic Irish cuisine and wonderful entertainment. It's too bad. Killarney's used to be such a great place.
