Busted-looking boat has a giant Trump flag hanging off the back. The actual Little Mermaid wouldn't be caught dead near this thing. This is not for kids.

Boat covered in Trump flags. People come for nature, not politics. Not worth the cost to be uncomfortable, I think. Pretty disappointing.

My husband researched Boat tours in Monterey Bay by studying leaflets and visiting websites (although the website named in the bottom of the leaflet was unavailable) before we visited and this tour seemed perfect for our family of 4 adults - affordable and not too long (other boat trips are nearly $50 per person and 3-4 hours long). We got to the ticket office at 11:50 and the first tour was at 12:00 - perfect we thought! Be we waited and we waited with no sign of anyone. In the end my daughter messaged them on Facebook and they replied about 15 minutes later saying that they were the Summer season was over and they were not going out that day. By their ticket office was a pile of leaflets that we used the previous day to pick their tour which quoted departures daily June thru Mid -September. It was the 26th August! Not to be relied on at all.

My husband and 2 children, 13 and 10 really enjoyed this little boat ride. It’s a great way get out on the water for a short trip. We did not expect to see any fish from reading other reviews so there was no disappointments. The boat took us out farther than I expected. We saw lots of sea otters, sea lions and a harbor seal. The kelp under the glass is interesting to see. My daughter enjoyed being able to feel the kelp one of the employees on the boat pulled from the water. They gave lots of informative facts during the ride about everything we were seeing. The water is beautiful and it was fun to see the bay from it’s point of view. We would do this again next time we visit. It’s a fun little experience!

Idk why everyone is giving it a one star, I thought it was great! It’s perfect if u have small children cause the whale watching ones take up to 3 hours and After about 15 mins the kids are over it and start complaining. Not to mention a whole hour of the whale watching trip is dedicated just to get to the whale area and back. On the glass boat they tell u fun facts while you’re on the boat, and I could hear the captain just fine. They have a glass bottom which u could see the water and some kelp. No u don’t see any fish, but how could u when a boat is coming through, they’re not going to stay there for your enjoyment, of course they’re gonna swim away! They take you to an area to see sea lions and some otters. The whole trip was about 30 mins which was perfect cause i wasn’t trying to spend anymore time than that on a boat.
