Comfort Suites at 8039 E 33rd St, under new management is becoming a major concern. From mold in guest rooms to the pool, limited towels as well as breakfast amenities.The hotel has drilled the fire exits closed!!. New management has become the main reason for the failed attempt of maintaining maintenance to the hotel as well as customer satisfaction. AMUNG many new guest rules was this refusal to allow visitors, to add my hotel floor was sopping wet for the whole stay. I will never come back

Booked a double room for 3 nights and notified management that we would be late due to flight delay. When we arrived our room was occupied. She took us to 2 other options before they found rooms across from each other. Went to our conference the next day and returned to dirty, unattended rooms with our purchase for the day - about $1000. Next day went to the conference to return for find our rooms clean and emptied of all of our belongings including the purchases. Went to desk and clerk said she would notify the manager who took about 2 hours to come down and she lived on site. She managed to find out luggage but not the purchases. Said maintenance man cleaned the room and gave our belonging to housekeeping who was not allowed to leave her house after 8 pm. She came the next morning with SOME of the purchases and told us the manager said she could have them. Also many items including clothing and a Coach purse were missing from our luggage. Made a police report. It appears this stealing of personal items is standard practice for this hotel.

A horrendous property. Upon entering the lobby, I discovered a man and woman, whom I later learned were the General Manager and Maintenance Technician for the property, huddled together behind the front desk snorting a white crystalline powder substance that apparently had been crafted into long, narrow lines across the counter. They were so engrossed in this activity that they were unaware of my presence until I verbally announced myself. They appeared quite startled, jumping up quickly and attempting to cover the substance seen on the counter with nearby paperwork. The male's pants were unzipped and his underwear was pulled through the opening. He immediately departed to an area not visible from the lobby. She remained long enough to advise me that she would find someone to help me, before departing through a door directly behind the desk and audibly locking it closed. 15 minutes later she returned stating she was unable to find anyone to help, but offering no apology. She then informed me the property did not have running water, had not had water in 4 days, and that she was unaware when water service was to be restored. I was already planning on shortening my reservation based upon observations to that point, but needed sleep immediately and inquired if she could discount the room due to it being illegal to rent without water or sewer. She seemed to take great offense to my request and rudely refused to discount the stay, and before I responded, further advised me she was placing me on Choice Hotels permanent Do Not Rent list.

We wil never stay at this hotel again. When we arrived there was only one person working and apparently the hotel over booked and several people did not have rooms. We had booked 2 rooms and I had 2 confirmation numbers but she did not want to see the numbers. They did ask my name but they should have been able to look up it up with the confirmation numbers. The lady was rude to us and was making sure that everyone that was waiting knew that she had to call 7 more people to tell them that they dis not have rooms. I told her that I had prepaid for a room and she said I was not charged. Guess what i was. Like I said I had prepaid! We tried to get our money back but they tried to stay we got there after 11pm and we were there before 10 pm. The person said they would have the manager call us back. No one would call us back. We tried for several weeks even called the corporate number a d no call back. So I lost $680.30. We like staying at comfort suites but WILL NOT be staying at this one because of how we were treated even when we called them the next day after having to find another place to stay. We were there for a soccer tournament.

My friends and I have been loyal guests of your hotel chain for more than 11 years, consistently choosing your properties because they have always been safe, clean, and well-maintained. Until now, we have never had a single issue worth mentioning.Unfortunately, the Tulsa Central location was nothing short of a nightmare and stands in complete contrast to the high standards we have come to expect from your brand.From the moment we entered the room, it was clear that this property is severely neglected. There were roaches near the microwave, the refrigerator, and even in the bathroom—a completely unacceptable and unsanitary condition for any hotel, let alone one operating under your reputable name.The towels provided were stained, the room had no functioning water at times, and after only two days of basic service, we received no housekeeping or trash pickup for the remaining three days of our stay. Overflowing trash and unchanged linens are not merely inconveniences—these are basic standards of hygiene that were entirely ignored.In all our years staying with your chain, we have never experienced such neglect, filth, or disregard for guest safety and comfort. It is deeply concerning that a property carrying your brand’s name is being allowed to operate in such a condition. Travelers deserve to be warned, and unless corrective action is taken immediately, this location will continue to tarnish your company’s otherwise reliable reputation.I expect a formal response outlining how this matter will be addressed, including what steps will be taken to bring this property back up to the standards your customers trust. We would also appreciate appropriate compensation for the distress, discomfort, and unacceptable conditions we were forced to endure.Your prompt attention to this issue is both warranted and expected.
