tripadvisorThis is where you meet your party rental or tour. Bathrooms and parking only. You can park and then have access to the water ways that lead anywhere in the channels.
MoreWe took a kayak tour here with Richard, a scientist and paleontologist from Paddle Marco. It was a great time and the park was well kept thanks to the Paddle Marco team.
MoreWe brought our own kayaks here for the first time. We had known about this park and visited twice before to check the water conditions. It was fairly busy on a Saturday, but we still had a place to park our vehicle towing a kayak trailer. This is a nice launch into Rookery Bay where you'll see lots of mangroves. The water is mostly pretty shallow, which means you don't see a lot of motorboats (although there were a few, including two going pretty fast). We saw ospreys, a great blue heron, and even a dolphin! It's great that the park has a kayak wash area, sheltered picnic tables, and restrooms. If you like this park, you might also want to check out the launch at the Environmental Learning Center of Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, slightly to the north.
MoreGreat owner Glenn who will take good care of you. We rent kayaks every year from him. He brings the kayaks and gear directly to our door. Make it so easy. The equipment is all in great shape. We love renting from Paddle Marco.
Morethis park was clean and well maintained and they were plenty of kayak providers such as Paddle Marco that helped us rent kayaks and showed us a great time.
