The Miller Performing Arts is a large that used to be used as a school. The theater is just one side of the building. We went to see a play put on by a local theater group. During Intermission , there usually is an art exhibit or other attraction to see outside the doors to the actual theater. Besides plays, there are many other types of performances to see.

Just rude people guarding the escalator while my seven year old was trying to get over her fear of them. They repeatedly told us about the stairs and elevator that other people could've used while she attempted to get over her fear, and I wouldn't have let it go on for long but it was maybe 20 seconds and one lady was already being rude about it, and insisted WE use those options instead. Overly protective of the escalators. The performance was great, my oldest was in it.

I went there when our local Helias Catholic High School did their performance of Footloose. This performance was excellent! Tickets for students were $10 and $15 for adults (non-students). The center has lots of events through out the year. It is similar to going to the Fox Theater in St. Louis, Mo. It is a more casual place and you will see people in business suits to blue jeans. The events there vary in variety and in price. Great local place for a wonderful experience.

The Miller Center is a lovely refurbished auditorium. Acoustics are excellent. Great parking. If you have time, look at the artwork in the Railton Art Gallery on the upper level of the building.

The facility was at one time a high school and then later a jr. high school. It has been renovated into a Performing Arts facility. The auditorium is beautiful with all seats having a good view of the stage.
