Some friends and I are putting on a poetry event here. Walking into the building feels like entering a luxurious time capsule. The rooms are so beautiful and ornate and historical. The event staff have been very friendly and accommodating to work with. Overall, a great experience.

Attended an annual holiday cocktail party at Statler City which was my first visit to this venue. I only stayed for an hour and had eaten dinner at home prior to arriving so can not speak to the food but the venue itself is old time Buffalo at its best. Great venue reminiscent of bygone grand hotels with banquet facilities.

Awful, awful, awful. Terrible food, terrible service and so expensive. Will never go again. Too many other choices in buffalo and they should keep that in mind.

This building is elegant, beautiful and historical. It strikes you from the moment you walk into the lobby. Although it is no longer used as a hotel (hopefully they will restore it full use), it is a wonderful event center. The decor is reminiscent of a time long past and it would lend wonderfully to that special day. Be sure to ask about its past and the amazing facts that have been discovered by those that went before and may still dwell there. Loved every bit of it.

I was curious about the three red building neat the City Hall. People in Buffalo are nice. I found out that the Statler City is perfect for weddings and receptions. The chandeliers are attractive and the ballroom is the highlight of it all. Wow! Wortwhile to see!
