The room wasn’t cleaned properly. Several different pieces of hair and dirt in sink. Toilet dirty. Stains and crumbs on chair. Dirt on top of heating unit. You have to pay to park. Check in desk had cases and cases of drinks. Hotel doesn’t look like pictures.

This hotel was very run down. I was very disappointed with how tired it all looked. The bathtub had rust, the wall paper peeling, the carpet was worn and dirty. My room had a concerning overwhelming perfume smell. Made me wonder what was being covered up. The front of the house staff very nice and they have a concierge on duty to give information about the city. They are located across from the FREE carta bus stop and steps to the shopping on King street. They have alot of potential but really need to invest in a renovation. Not what I expect from a Hampton property

Very clean, and sooo convenient. Very close to everything.Hilton Reps were all so hospitable and helpful. Especially Karen w/HGV, who gave us great suggestions. And Crystal was very patient answering all our questions at registration.

I want to highly recommend and compliment Karen, with HGV, on her over the top service and southern hospitality. The best I have ever received from any Hilton. She is very knowledgeable of Charleston and its offerings.

Although the staff on this property is excellent-friendly, efficient, professional, this hotel is in serious need of an update. The carpet and sofa in our room were spotted and, well, gross. Clean otherwise though- just being slippers so your feet don't touch the floor! Nice property- give it an update Hilton!
