I usually LOVE Canyon River Spa. It gives big city vibes in a small town. With the sauna and steam room. The facilities were great but my massage therapist really hurt my neck. I told her to be gentle and that I did not want deep tissue and at the end she pulled my neck and hit these two points on my neck that were so painful. About 3 hours after the massage my neck started hurting terribly. I’ve had so many massages but never gone to bed in pain after like this one. Ugh.

I am usually much too lazy for reviews but my 90 minute massage with Kyle was THE BEST massage I have ever had. I get monthly massages at home and try to find a spa every time I travel (yes, I’m spoiled rotten) and this took it to another level. I’ve never had someone find all the knots so quickly and work them out like magic. It’s probably actual magic. Also, the relaxation space is beautiful, they have champagne on hand and the snacks were all of my favorite things. I’m booking flights through here instead of Helena from now on, just to visit Canyon River Spa. Thanks Kyle!

I enjoyed a wonderful weekday afternoon at the spa. Beautiful and modern facility was clean and organized. My massage therapist, Jamie, listened to my needs and tailored a fantastic 90 minutes to provide exactly what I was there for! They were very busy but never made me feel rushed. Love the Aveda products as well.

From SC, in Montana for vacation. I always use Trip Advisor for reviews and I am so glad that I did. This was one of the best massages I have ever had. Receptionist was very warm and welcoming. I arrived about 30 mins early to use the steam room prior to my massage appt. Thank you Miranda for working out my sore muscles and the aches and pain from the plane ride. Miranda is one of the best!

All was great to begin with, lovely steam room, waiting area and foot bath. Jessica was my message therapist, not overly friendly and quite surly. When she told me to relax my arm, I chuckled and said, that is hard to do, she replied “it’s only as hard as you make it”! Then she asked me if I did yoga, I said no that I didn’t know of anyone in my town that taught it, she said, “you have internet don’t you?” I said yes I did and I could find something on there but that I walked quite a lot and the final straw was her answer to that was “ So, no self care then?” I can find somewhere else to spend my money and even after all that I still left her 20% tip!
