tripadvisorI spent two nights here on a business trip and appreciated the convenient location near Cambridge. I was upgraded to a slightly larger room, which was comfortable, with a good bed and generally clean, tidy surroundings. The lobby coffee shop was a nice touch, too. My latte was made entirely by hand and had a rich, bold flavor—well worth mentioning. The downside is that the hotel lobby is undergoing major construction, making check-in a bit awkward and access to the coffee shop and restaurant entrance rather tight. The road out front is also under construction, which caused some delays with Uber pickups. All in all, a comfortable and convenient stay, though the construction certainly detracts from the experience.
MoreThis Marriott is a shame of the Marriott Group. Far away from Mr.JW Marriott ‘s idea. It is like a Marriott Motel ,MarriOTEL, with arerage price of USD 600-800/night. In Q4, I need more SNP from Hyatt (60N) and Marriott(75N)So I stayed one night in Hyatt regency, one night in Marriott, because of the discrimination, (the staff who can not speak English discriminated me)and no any feedback after complaining,I moved back to the Hyatt. so I came to this Marriott (MIT) just for SNP. .# I am talking about the hotel service or Marriott stand service. Some of the staffs ,maybe from South America, are not trained very well, maybe they don’t know the code of conduct of Marriott. And the General Manyi’s not qualified.you know the problem is not that there are problems,it is no May body cares. I always trust google reviews ,because the Marriott Titanium and ambassador can also make the reviews on google. If you have to stay in Cambridge,HYATT REGRNCY Cambridge is Highly recommended. The attached photos with the Charles river view are all from Hyatt Regency!
MoreThe hotel is fine, like any Marriott I have ever stayed in. What makes this Marriott just so much better is the quality of staff. As an over 75 years of age traveler, I admit I can get flustered when technology fails me. My mobile phone was not working, I had waited an hour for a cab that never came and I was approaching old lady melt down. An excellent young man named Wilson at the reception desk kindly phoned my sister for me and then proceeded to fix whatever was wrong with the phone and got me onto the internet. The might not sound like much but he saved my evening and I appreciate his kindness. Cambridge Marriott is fortunate to have Wilson on staff.
MoreThis is a great Marriott in the middle of the town. The service is outstanding, the rooms are super clean. I had access to the lounge and that one was great as well, with a good breakfast. So overall great hotel.
MoreWe booked a supposed ADA accessible room and it was a miserable experience. The bed was 32 inches high, try transferring from a chair up to a table without using your legs. There was a shower bench but the soap dispenser was high near the showerhead, you needed to stand. The closing spring on the room door was too heavy to open from a wheelchair. Entrance doors next to handicapped parking did not have power opening. A wchair van with a dropped bottom will have its bottom ripped out on their parking ramp.
