After Dr. Pirotta removed 3 pins, my toes were black, and I had to be admitted to a hospital for a severe bone and skin infection.
After spending a week in the hospital, still one pin remaining, and still getting antibiotics by pic line.
This was initially after hammer toe surgery, with the pins in my toes. You can see some skin has turned grey,    from loss of circulation.
